Roles and responsibilities:

1.   Once you have been assigned an event to look after, you need to contact the golf course well in advance to ensure there are no conflicts in the date, or that there are not any tournaments that will affect available tee times.  Inquire about green fees, twilight times if available, cart availability, and any restrictions on cart use.

2.   Book at least 3 tee times at least 5 days in advance.  Depending on the popularity of the course, you may need more times.  Be sure to understand the course’s cancellation policy.  Once again confirm cost and also inquire about the course condition, so that we do not get any unpleasant surprises.  Send Russ Dahms an email (russ.dahms@shaw.ca) or text [(780) 910-6148] with all the booking information for posting on the website.

3.  Make sure to collect score cards at the conclusion of the round and forward them to Dean Branting - our beloved statistician.

4.   Event organizers MAY choose to run a one-day tournament if the players wish ie:  everyone throws in $5.00 and it is paid out at the end of the day, but this will be over-and-above the CPDA points payout system as described under membership.
